Psalms 145:18

The old saying goes that there are no atheists in foxholes. I think that everyone cries out to God at some point in their life. But what God are they crying out to? Jesus is the one true and living God. Crying out to any other is pure vanity. This reminds me of the theif on the cross who recognized that Jesus truly was the Son of God. God’s grace was extended to him because he sincerely believed in what he was witnessing. Jesus later confirmed the importance of personal belief after His resurrection, saying that the one’s who have not seen Him first hand and yet believe will be blessed. That is, God’s grace has been extended to them.
